Scores of officers of Infrastructure and Public Handling in Papanggo Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, deployed to clean up a water channel at RW 04, Jalan Danau Sunter.

Papanggo Urban Village Head, Sumaryono acknowledged the cleaning is an anticipation way to face rainy season in the upcoming November.
Water Channel on Jalan Jembatan III Cleaned“Real condition of the channel is shallow, we worried it would be overflowed when heavy rain pours,” he said, Wednesday (9/2).
Aside that, around 20 Infrastructure and Public Handling officers also demolished concrete blocks that covered channel by using manual equipments.
“Hopefully, the channel could function normally and accommodate water in large quantities, as well as minimize flood in future,” he expected.
